Eight Hotel Portofino

The welcome and staff hospitality is excellent, the hotel is well presented and very new following a recent refit. Location to Portofino centre excellent, we also used the shuttle service to visit the sister hotel and private beach, well worth a visit. The breakfast is superb and staff service outstanding.

We had a lovely stay here, just 1 night. The staff were very pleasant, the hotel was clean and the breakfast was lovely. A little strange that scrambled eggs were included in the breakfast but any other type of cooked eggs, ie poached required a supplement! The parking at the hotel was free but very limited, however there is a large public car park nearby which we decided to use as we had found a parking space there ( of which there were few available ) and the hotel advised we would have to vacate any parking at the hotel the following day when we checked out. We planned to spend the day in Portofino after check out so this seemed to be a better option. This was our second trip to Portofino and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The staff was exceptional. The decor and design are stunning. Access to the beach club was amazing! The breakfast was perfect. We had our 7-year old son with us and it was perfect! We had a fabulous dinner at a local restaurant as recommended by the concierge - Gemeli was a wonderful experience. I would recommend coming back.

Great property with 2min walking access to the vibrant bay of Portofino. Their transfer service to the sister property at Paragi Bay is wonderful. Concierge was helpful with bookings of boat tours, etc.
